ABOUT YOU

The majority of my clients are over 50 (although certainly not limited to) who are looking at becoming more active, make a few lifestyle changes and do that with someone who can truly empathise with where they are in life!  Beyond that, you will have your own reasons for hiring a personal trainer - health, weight loss, preparing for an event or other personal goal, physical fitness.  Ultimately, whatever your reason, this is about you.  A good match will reap the best results so when you get in touch it's worth giving me some background and what it is you are looking for and then we will discuss further when we meet for your free consultation.

Don't know where to start....

Maybe you know you want to do something but unsure where or how to start?  However, you do know that the gym is not the place for you! No gym is required!  We can start by keeping things simple.  We will chat through any concerns you may have, what you would like to achieve and above all how you would like to feel. I will provide a balanced programme based on your needs, abilities and preferences.  

GETTING BACK INTO YOUR STRIDE....

Maybe you already know what to do but have hit some downtime.  Maybe you like to workout once or twice a week for some 'me time'.  but you need to create that all important accountability and motivation, have someone tell you what to do, how to do it and monitor form.  I will help you refresh your skills, teach new ones and provide the guidance and support you might currently be missing.

 MORE THAN ONE....

Maybe you want to workout with a friend or partner or a small group of friends.  You like the idea of personal training and the benefits that a close working relationship can bring but want to spread the cost. Everybody is different and for some working with others is a better option as it provides support, accountability, motivation and a lot of fun!

SOMETHING MORE....

Maybe it's a bit more complicated and you are looking for some real lifestyle changes.  Perhaps you want to lose weight, improve nutrition, become more active, need to improve or adapt to a medical condition.  Making these types of changes can be quite challenging especially if you are trying to address more than one issue.  Small steps are key here, don't forget current habits may have taken years to establish so don't expect to make a major overhaul overnight.  Always look to the long term rather than the short term fix.
