This privacy policy sets out how Jo Stanworth Personal Training uses and stores any personal information that is collected about you on this website or when using her personal training services. This policy comes under the provisions of the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulations 2018.

Only information that is freely given by you, is deemed necessary for and specific to your training purposes will be collected. It is likely that the following information will be collected either via the contact form on this website or directly from you when enquiring or using Jo’s services.
Your name
Your contact information including email address, phone number, home address
Other relevant information (eg age, height, weight, medical conditions) when completing required medical and lifestyle questionnaires prior to the commencement of any training.

What happens to the data collected?
Your data will be used to administer your training. Relevant data will be updated throughout your training for the purpose of your monitoring and assessment. It may also be used for statistical purposes such as in the analysis of type of clientele, success of training methods/approaches, type and number of referrals. At no point will individual identification be used or indeed required. Data used in marketing purposes where there is a likelihood of personal identification will only be done with your consent. Specific consent to do this will be sort directly from you prior to use, such as the use of photographs on this website or social media.
Your data will not be shared with third parties unless you provide separate written consent to do so, such as if it is deemed necessary to seek medical or other healthcare advice in order to continue your training.
Your data will be held securely (either electronically and password protected or filed in locked location for the duration of your training period and for a maximum of 1 years after your training has completed for statistical purposes. Any information used will be done so without including any individual identification.
Information submitted by the contact form is for initial enquiry purposes. If you decide not to use Jo’s services, then this information will be securely destroyed unless you wish and give your permission for it to be retained for future contact purposes. Likewise, any information provided directly to Jo via email, phone or that which may appear on initial medical and lifestyle screening forms will be securely destroyed if you choose not to go ahead with using Jo’s services.
All data will be recorded accurately and updated when necessary either by request from Jo or by you as the client.

Access to your information
You have the right to request a copy of your personal data at anytime and can do so by contacting Jo directly. Requests will be dealt with within one month.
You have the right at any time to withdraw your consent to personal data being held. You can do this by contacting Jo directly who will action your request within one month.
